Hudson Valley Native Landscaping is a team of professional landscape and plant care specialists dedicated to bringing out the natural beauty often hidden under overgrown yards, woodlands and fields. We are industry leaders in removing invasives, poisonous plants, woodland restoration, tree care, and native plantings, all with a focus on sustainability and non-chemical and non-toxic practices.
Still family owned and operated locally, Hudson Valley Native Landscaping is the umbrella organization that includes Poison Ivy Patrol, a division that specializes in removing poison ivy.
In 2009, owner and founder, John Messerschmidt left a long career in NYC construction management to embark on a dream journey to live and work closer to nature in rural Ulster County. He has partnered with forward thinking professionals in all areas of environmental science to offer customers a restored natural habitat in their own back yards, complete with beautifully landscaped native gardens.
Over the course of 8 years, he developed an infrastructure that would cover an area from greater New York City up to Albany, and beyond. Call John today.
We currently serve the entire Hudson Valley including Albany, Columbia, Greene, Dutchess, Ulster, Putnam, Orange, Sullivan, Rockland, and Westchester counties, as well as Connecticut’s Fairfield County.
